During Bob’s twenty-five year career, he was assigned to various road duty stations before being assigned to the Investigations and Intelligence Sections. While assigned to the Investigations and Intelligence Sections for approximately 20 years, Bob conducted, assisted, and supervised crimes pertaining to narcotics, organized crime, street gangs, computer crimes, kidnapping, murder, burgalary, theft and more.
Bob was both a surface and undercover detective. He conducted thousands of hours of physical and electronic surveillance and researched investigative sources/searches and promoted true Intelligence Led Policing. Bob maintained a familiarity with the techniques, practices, and terminology used by persons involved in criminal activity. He utilized information from confidential informants, and various law enforcement personnel, which assisted in the investigation, arrest, and prosecution of violators of criminal acts throughout his law enforcement career.
Throughout his career and training, past and present, Bob has continued to maintain a familiarity with the practices, techniques, terminology and equipment used by participants engaged in criminal and fraudulent activity. Bob attends and instructs numerous in-service seminars and schools regarding criminal investigations, criminal interdiction, covert operations, undercover techniques, etc.
