During 1982-1983, Bob DelVacchio attended and graduated as a Trooper from the New Jersey State Police Academy, Sea Girt, New Jersey. Upon graduation, Bob was assigned to Troop “C” where he proudly served for several years. Bob eventually transferred to Troop “D” and completed his road duty assignments. After a brief Division Headquarters assignment Bob was selected for assignment into the Narcotics Bureau, Investigations Section. Bob remained active within the Investigations/Intelligence Sections with additional assignments to: Street Gang, High Tech Crimes, and Intelligence Management Units until his retirement in 2008.
While assigned to the Investigations and Intelligence Sections, Bob logged thousands of hours of covert surveillance while the case agent or as a member of the support staff for hundreds of investigations. Upon completing 25 years of distinguished service, Bob retired from the New Jersey State Police having attained the highest rank achievable to him, Lieutenant.
Since 2008, Bob has been a licensed private investigator with the State of New Jersey and principle owner of Double 08 Investigations, LLC. During this time, he has personally conducted and assisted on numerous investigations related to surveillance, insurance fraud, GPS tracking, marital infidelity, child custody, missing person locate, employee theft, employee background, etc.
Bob is a certified New Jersey SORA Instructor and he possesses his Retired Law Enforcement Permit to Carry. Bob continues to train law enforcement and the private sector in identifying criminal activity.
